Performance RENTALS

Space rental includes sound system of two JBL and two QSC speakers, light board, 12 Chavet Tri Tours lights, eight Elation Six Par 200 RG BAW/UV lights, 60 chairs, tables, areas for concessions and ticketing, extra studio for warming up and dressing room, black-out curtains, staff member during performances, and storage during performance week.

Theater rental costs are based on technical and performance hours

In a standard performance package, the renter is given 3 days of tech (4 hours a day) and 2 days of performance (5 hours a day). Tech hours are charged at $40/hr and performance hours are charged at $60/hr. Performance includes: use of Studio 1, Studio 2 as a dressing room, access to the lobby, a staff person to man the door, 60 chairs, 12 Chavet Tri Tours hanging lights, a light board and sound.

Total amount of a standard performance package: $1200

Dovetail does not provide a tech person, the renter must secure one themselves.

Add ons include: eight Elation Six Par 200 RG BAW/UV floor lights, black Marley and additional performance days

Times

Monday -Thursday Technical Rehearsals, 4 hours per evening in the space.

Friday-Sunday Performances, 5 hours per evening in the space.

Residency

Dovetail offers residencies to three artists per year. The residency is a space subsidy; discounted rehearsal space and performance space. If interested please contact us for more information.
