Gery Moore

A native to Chicago, Gerhon was born and raised in Rogers Park. He's been training in dance since 16 but was casually dancing around since 3.

In 2012, Moore graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a major in Dance and minor in Cultural Studies.

Trained in a variety of styles, yoga and capoeira are other movement outlets for the dancer. Gerhon (Gery) has worked from music artist Dani Deahl and Big Dipper, to choreographers Darrell Jones, Pia Hamilton, Lin Shook, J'Sun Howard and Pedro Mercado amongst others.

Gery has spoken and taught at the Columbia College Dance Center, co-taught at the University of Chicago, and currently teaches yoga at Texture Dance Studio.
