The Mini’s program offers classes for children as early as 6 weeks old through 6 years old. For the youngest children, classes introduce the child to the physical world, provide stimulation and encourage development of the spinal muscles and developmental patterns. Creative movement classes are offered for children ages 3-4, which then progress to introductory classes in the formal techniques such as ballet, tap, jazz and hip hop at age 5.
Classes in this division are offered in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Street Dance and Yoga. Our classes are designed to promote a healthy life style by focusing on coordination, flexibility, cardiovascular training, calorie burning, rhythm, balance and developing skills while keeping you motivated and interested in what you are doing. Our variety of classes will keep you coming to get in shape and to broaden your fitness experience. Classes range from 45 minutes to 75 minutes a class. Some classes require registration while others require the purchase of class passes.
DANCE CLASSES FOR ALL AGES
Designed for children ages 7 through teen, students are able to take classes in ballet, tap, jazz and street dance (hip hop). Students hone their technical skills, musicality, artistic expression and work on more complex movements and progressions and continue to learn the terminology associated with each technique. This program also has classes specifically designed for the teenage dancer whatever his or her level might be.
The professional division offers advanced classes for professional and pre-professional dancers in Ballet, Modern, and Street Dance. All classes are minimum 90 minutes. Drop-ins are welcome but we encourage the purchase of a class pass to receive a discount. Proof of participation in a professional company or working at a professional level is required to receive a professional discounted card. Class cards are also available to anyone who wishes to take these classes at the regular rate.
